Luckily, two of our writers are willing to share who they’ve gone for in their Weekender sides. But do you reckon you can beat them?

Michael Golson has gone for a forward pairing of Romelu Lukaku – with one eye on United’s home clash with Liverpool – alongside Brighton’s Glenn Murray, who’s notched 11 times in the Premier League so far this season.

An attacking midfield pairing of Jesse Lingard and Sadio Mane could do the goods in the North West derby, while Chelsea’s home clash against Crystal Palace calls for an all Blues defence of Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta.

The ever-reliable David De Gea takes the helm in goal.

Adam Jones has taken a different approach, backing some of the lesser lights at the back to shine.

He’s gone for Huddersfield stopper Jonas Lossl in goal and two Newcastle defenders – Jamal Lascelles and DeAndre Yedlin – to perform against goal-shy Southampton.

In midfield it’s the turn of more familiar faces Eden Hazard and Christian Eriksen against Crystal Palace and Bournemouth respectively.

And an all English front line of Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy are his goal hopefuls.
